Cost Planning and Cost Management

Cost control is an integral part of any scheme. From inception to completion Shard can plan and manage cost at every stage of a project, enabling extensive control over value and risk. Though comprehensive change control procedures and documentation and reporting we aim to provide clients with maximum flexibility and control over cost, risk and delivery allowing them to plan and implement decisions for the benefit of their long term project goals and the life of their buildings.

Our cost services include: cost planning and engineering, forecasting, procurement, benchmarking and analysis, valuation and re-measurement.


Contract Administration, Progress and Change management

Shard’s experience of working across a diverse range of industry and business sectors enables it to provide a full and comprehensive contract administration and management service. We are experts in a variety of contract forms including (but not limited to) JCT, NEC, PPC2000, ICE, RICS and CIOB and are experienced in developing and working with bespoke contracts. In addition to acting as employer’s/client's agent, Share is equally happy integrating into wide project teams providing commercial and contractual administration and support.

Bid-management, tender management, benchmarking and pre-qualificaiton.

Our experience also extends to helping clients procure their supply chain. Whether this be for clients looking to appoint a principle contractor or assisting main contractors source and procure sub-contract trades and specialists.
